Karen Heldmeyer, former city councilor, will discuss Santa Fe city politics in light of the recent city elections. She plans to talk about issues including the city budget, the current governing body, and how city residents can become more involved in local political affairs.

Mary McGinnis has been living, writing, working and laughing in New Mexico since 1972. Her published books include Private Stories on Demand, October Again, and her first full-length collection, Listening for Cactus, published by Sherman Asher Publishing in 1996.
Merle Lefkoff (Founder and CEO) spent decades as an international mediator in the Middle East, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, and Central and Eastern Europe. She received a research grant to study Complex Adaptive Systems, also called Complexity Science, and its application to global peace building. She was appointed Guest Scientist and Affiliate at the Center for Non-Linear Studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where she explored the natural laws that govern collective human behavior.
