Joelle Marier currently works as the BLM Grassroots Organizer for the New Mexico Wilderness Alliance. Outside of her multifaceted role as a community organizer, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, skiing, and just plain experiencing the wild lands of New Mexico and the Western U.S. – the essence of which she attempts to capture through nature writing and traditional drawing media.
