Fred Nathan founded Think New Mexico and is its Executive Director. Fred served as Special Counsel to New Mexico Attorney General Tom Udall from 1991-1998. In that capacity, he was the architect of several successful legislative initiatives and was in charge of New Mexico’s lawsuit against the tobacco industry, which resulted in a $1.25 billion settlement for the state.
Paul Gibson, the Santa Fe Coordinator for the Senator Bernie Sanders’ campaign for president, will speak on the national and local campaign. He will describe the specific differences between Sanders, Clinton and GOP candidates in relation to past Senate votes, current positions, and major funders.
Camilla Feibelman serves as Director of the Rio Grande Chapter of Sierra Club, which represents over 7,000 members. Camilla works with hundreds of volunteers throughout New Mexico and West Texas to protect special places like the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks and Albuquerque’s Rio Grande Bosque, and to help curb global warming while stimulating the economy through renewable energy development.
