Fred Nathan founded Think New Mexico and is its Executive Director. Fred served as Special Counsel to New Mexico Attorney General Tom Udall from 1991-1998. In that capacity, he was the architect of several successful legislative initiatives and was in charge of New Mexico’s lawsuit against the tobacco industry, which resulted in a $1.25 billion settlement for the state.

Camilla Feibelman serves as Director of the Rio Grande Chapter of Sierra Club, which represents over 7,000 members. Camilla works with hundreds of volunteers throughout New Mexico and West Texas to protect special places like the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks and Albuquerque’s Rio Grande Bosque, and to help curb global warming while stimulating the economy through renewable energy development.

Madeleine Carey is the WildEarth Guardians’ Gila Campaign Fellow. Born and raised in Albuquerque, Madeleine spent her childhood exploring the Rio Grande and its bosque on foot and on horseback.
